Well that's more like it! Our adaptation initial of the poem "One Art" actually looks good at the TriQuartely site. A ton better than at youtube. Seeing it here makes me remember what I like about this version. (New one in the works and new Sandpiper in the works too.) Check it out at http://www.triquarterly.org/cinepoetry/one-art.

In the Waiting Room our latest adaptation of an Elizabeth Bishop poem will play at The Atlantic Film Festival on Sunday Sept. 15th at 1pm. "Overwhelming" and "surrealism" are words used to describe it. How about that! And we're paired up with Anne Verrall's new movie Stroll. Good news! For those in the area we hope you can go.

Robert Krulwich of Radiolab just featured my adaptation of Elizabeth Bishop's poem Sandpiper. He talks about intersection of art and science which I think is a fascinating topic. Also, I love Radiolab.

One of my favorite independent bookstores in the world, McNally Jackson in NYC is hosting an evening on literary filmmaking this Thursday night at 7pm. I am on the panel and will show First Death in Nova Scotia and then anything could happen after that! Please join the fun if you're in New York City.
